We support two paths. OAuth (preferred): you log into Tradovate directly and authorize our app — we never see your password and tokens can be revoked anytime from your Tradovate settings. Username/password (fallback) for users whose firms restrict OAuth: your credentials are encrypted at rest with a server-only AES-128 (Fernet) key, never logged, and only decrypted in memory to refresh your session token.
